We should put a warning on the recipe so we don't lose any members when they see the finished pork.

No photo, but was making a lamb soup in the PC and after quite a bit of cooking had to reduce the pressure and add some lentils. On opening the lid I discovered the above extractor fan light protector had fallen in and had been cooking at high temperature nicely. Was all in one piece so I just fished it out and kept the secret to myself. Haven't cleaned it thoroughly in about 5 years apart from wipe overs every so often (oops)

Under all that kitchen roll is my sour dough stater. What a mess!!! I had just put 400g into the TM to make Chookie's recipe Sour Dough Loaf Activated in the fridge Overnight.I then added extra flour and filtered water to feed the remaining sour dough starter and whist stirring it I tapped the side of the jar with a spoon.Pop went the side of the glass. :o It went everywhere!! Freeking out I grappled the nearest container to save as much stater as possible that was left in the jar.I then strained it into a new jar.Its still alive and now safely in the fridge with the SD loaf ;)

The crunchy bit on the side would be nice Denise, what type of loaf is it?

DH loves that sort of crunchy bit.
CC I'm so glad you were able to save some of the SD starter.

Damn, blast and several other expletives. I needed to cook this morning so I made some Cherry and Strawberry Jam that tastes devine. Next on the list was a chocolate cake. I decided to try a recipe on Tenina's blog. Error number 1, I left the cocoa out so it's a vanilla cake. Error number 2, I greased the tin and put the mix in....and left the gasket for the base out.

My mind is sort of on other things. ( a funeral I have to attend next week....so young and devastating).
I think I will stick to ironing and housework for the rest of today.  ;D ;D
I will post a photo when I lever it out of the tin. DH suggested mushy laming tons. Kind boy he is.

I agree with no more cooking today Cookie, it's hard coming to terms with unexpected losses.

I did have a chuckle at your terminology though, calling a tin liner a gasket LOL - your connection to car enthusiasts is evident.

A trifle might be nice for dessert if your cake doesn't come out cleanly.
