Thanks Michele. If I wasn't so rough trying to get it out of the hot tin, it may have come out a bit tidier but I'm a bull-at-a-gate as my DH always says.

It's been so long since I made a loaf so I was very disappointed I didn't realise the no-fuss recipe was going to rise so high (normally make rolls with this recipe). I did line the tin but only with a small liner which obviously wasn't enough  :-))  Luckily it's only for me, still tastes great  ;D

Still looks pretty good, Judy.Yesterday, I made some fudgy wudgies very early in the morning to take to school for a lass who was leaving the staff for greener pastures.  Was running . . well, not late . . but close to it and couldn't wait for them to cool.  They were still soft when I had to resort to almost tipping them into the carrier.  My thought was, well, that's the end of that - but by the time I got to school they were cool and the ones that didn't break up on their collision with the carrier were great (I'm still picking on the bits that were left . . ;D ;D)

That loaf looks fine to me Judy.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Judy my DH loves to eat the bits that get stuck. He thinks they are the best. Especially the bits that sneak out of the pipe loaf tin.

No photo, but you can picture this.....   DH unplugs fridge/freezer in garage so he can vacuum car. Forgets to plug fridge back in again, and I discover this 5 days later 😳.    He was mortified!     Did mention later that he thought the meat he'd used in a meal 2 days ago seemed a bit warm !!

Luckily we mostly use it for longer term storage of forgiving things like sourdough starter, preserved lemons, spices and pickles. The contents of the freezer had to go, couldn't risk it. Glad the meat I had to throw out wasn't too expensive (we often have a whole duck in there but luckily not this week), still I hate waste so DH kept his head low for the rest of the day 😡
