I made a yummy pumpkin quiche last night. I forgot to put one of the eggs in (found it later behind the TMX) and then spilled it all over the oven door as I put it in. It still tasted lovely.

Perhaps our little thermomix is can do more than we thought. It can lay eggs too  ;D

Having a couple of friends in for morning tea today so decided to make some of nay-nay's scones.  I thought they seemed a bit heavy when I was pressing them out but in the oven they went and boy what a disaster.

I had used plain flour instead of SR flour. :-))

They were terrible so threw them out on the lawn for the birds and they took quite a while to eat them.

Had a second go and this time they were perfect, so nice and light and fluffy.  I will be using this recipe again but will pay more attention next time.

Can I post on this thread? I was finishing off cooking a quinoa dish of Tenina and reached for some nuts and knocked a new bottle of EVO onto the tiles...  Oil up the doors, over the oven door and glass and oil from one end of the kitchen to the other. >:(
Have spent about an hour cleaning!!
