I agree maddy, out of sight out of mind - it wouldn't work for me either unless I almost tripped up on it each day.  So, on the floor of the pantry it would have to go for me.  If you ever try again, I hope it works out for you - it certainly started off looking great.

What a great shame about your cheese Maddy. I would have needed a daily reminder like an alarm clock to get me to turn it everyday.

Oh what a shame Maddy. At least you have learnt to grow fuzzy cheese;D I would have done the same in fact am off to pantry to shake my homemade vanilla essence, haven't done so for weeks, oops.

Dont know if this fits this thread but its the opposite to the happy thread....i have just done my first set of blades. Tried to whizz up some dried apricot jam, from the fridge. Now they just spin and make a horrible noise.   I do use my machine a lot and have had it 2 years with 2 bowl sets. Feel dissapointed in myself, you think they will handle anything.

Maddy, such a shame about the cheese.  It did look good at the start.  I am afraid I would also forget it if it was put away in a cupboard.  I am terrible like that.
