Hope you find some decent food soon!! :-\

But, I bet the beaches and the weather makes up for the bad food!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Hally,  do look for Japanese or Thai restaurants.  The last time I was in Hawaii I found those were the best options for me.  I don't eat seafood because of allergy but there are many other options.
Even the Japanese fried foods, such as tempura are much, much lighter than other fried foods I found there.

I do have to admit that mostly I consumed a lot of fruit for breakfast and lunch every day, then walked as much as I could to counter the sugar content.

Had a great day out with a hire car. DH managed well with it all being the wrong way round!!!!

The scenery is amazing here in Hawaii. No wonder they film so many movies out here. We had lunch in this cute place called Buzzs on the east side, it was the cutest place i have been too. Very busy, it wasn't far from where Lost was filmed and a lot if the cast ate there regularly. Adam Sandler was in recently as he had been filming out here and even Obama has been to this place.

We had the buffet dinner in the hotel last night, some veggies and salad but very pricey $55 each plus tax plus tips! Lovely prime rib too. DH &I ate as much asparagus as we could, it was yummm. The bread out here is sweet its not Nice at all, even the milk is odd!LOL

Today the boys are checking out where the 5 0 is being filmed and i am off to the outlets. Hope to catch the filming later when i get back.

Talk later, missing my TM, it would be great to have it here
BTW sitting on balcony looking at Diamind Head, listening to the waves, its 7am here and surfs up, heaps of people on boards. DH at gym, so i am babysitting.
