Just remember you have reduced your pixels. They don't enlarge well. When I went on holiday a few years ago I thought I would enlarge some photos and because I had reduced the pixels couldn't .
When I download photos from the camera to my computer, I keep a file of "raw" photos at the original size.
I pull copies to a new folder or folders and only then do I make changes to the photos.
This has saved me a lot of grief over the years.
I have some huge photos, taken with a panorama camera, and from the originals I take "screen shot" snippets that I size down.
I copied and reduced one panorama shot to make the heading on my blog - when the poppies were in bloom a few years ago.
If taken with a standard camera at that distance, it would have taken three shots to get the same view.
There are several programs, most fairly inexpensive for improving photos, removing objects, etc.
One that is very handy and easy to learn, is
InPaint, which you can try for free for 30 days.
I really don't use it much because I have been composing photos for many years, but occasionally need to remove something in the background and with this app, it is easier than some of the more expensive and complicated apps.
Works on either Mac or PCs.
