Hey Hally
Funny, I would have imagined the food to be exotic and scrummy........at least you have oodles of lamb to look forward too
Did you bring back a coconut brassiere and grass skirt?

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes.
Yes Maddy we thought the same, maybe lots os tapas, Latino inspired food, cajun style and all sorts of different dishes, i was very excited about the food. You do not go to hawaii for the food, but everything else was fabulous.
Just wished i could have shopped more at Williams Sonoma, such an amazing shop. Next time.... We are saving for another trip.

Welcome back Hally. I can relate about the food in Hawaii. Even our hotel room had no coffee/tea making facilities and we were staying in a good Hotel. I went out and bought a cheap elec kettle and supplies just so we could have our cup of tea when we wanted to instead of having to go out and buy it every time.
I did love the breakfasts though. Eggs over easy with strips of bacon, served with pancakes and maple syrup on the side. I'd never had bacon and eggs with pancakes before, thoroughly enjoyed it.

loved the photo's Hally, and good to see the Crown Prince. He looks like a natural surfer and what better place than Hawaii to "hang loose". Nice to see your face - you look like a very calm natured person.
