DD, let us know how you go with the leeks.. We are having visitors on Sunday,  making this for lunch to have with roast beef.

DH and I enjoyed it, the kids comments on leeks and decided they don't like it  (sigh).

Bit of a shame,  but i can understands as i didn't like leeks when I was a kid.

I made this again last week and used 2 tblespns of my "dry onion soup mix" (thanks Judy for the recipe) that I made for the Retreat. It was great - just added more flavour and still got the thumbs up from DD's. Am about to make again to go with slow roasted shoulder of lamb!  ;)

Mes KK,  really enjoyed the Dry Onion Soup Mix the you gave us all at the Get together,  so have just made some also.  Will also try in this recipe.
