You are gong to have a super clean house Uni!

Mine is to declutter the house over the year the Flylady way  :) there are some things I do really well but the decluttering isn't a constant so I need to work on that.

Cripes - I haven't even thought about New Year's Resolutions yet.  Just trying to keep healthy and awake would be a good start, the next four months are going to be hectic, the following four months will have me playing "catch up" on the first four months, then, everything going well, we'll have a very quick excursion to Italy (probably spend more time travelling than being there!), then back to play 'catch up' again then SIL coming over for Xmas and New Year - perhaps I should be planning 2013's New Year's Resolutions now!

I don't make New Year resolutions. It may be a cop out I don't know. I never kept them anyway. I just try through out the year with a goal every now and then and keep it simple. eg Do the ironing when it is as tall as Mr Everest. :D :D :D
Sometimes theynmay be a little more ambitious. I'm a list maker. I tend to make lists all the time. Probably a hang over from teaching.

I don't really make New Years Resolutions either, but if I did it would be to learn how to slice bread  :)
I'm making some quite nice bread now thanks to Thermie and this forum, but then completely hack it to death when trying to slice it (my OH is even worse  :))

I grew up in a household with pre-sliced (probably supermarket) bread.  Whilst Mum certainly taught me how to cook, slicing bread wasn't something I learnt  :(

Not a great one for NY resolutions but I think I will make one now - take more holidays! Back to work on Thursday and not looking forward to it, especially since kids don't go back to school until Feb and I can't get any more time off in Jan  >:(

I haven't given much thought to any New Year's resolutions this year.

I'll probably just keep doing what I'm doing. I've always got loads on my plate, so maybe I'll learn to say 'No' a bit more.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I always make New Years Resolutions. I write them down and recommit to the past years.

This year is:

* Keep an orderly handbag
* No more magazines - reread the years of ones I have ( it should be fine - with my Alzheimer's playing up it will be like reading new ones anyway)
* Cook 1 new recipe every week (easy with the forum)

Love you list Uni, I haven't made on this year, never keep to them, a friend is giving up chocolate silly girl.
I do want to get fitter and get some of this weight off, less computer time might help.
My plan while I am on holidays is to de clutter my craft room, and either give or sell stuff that's not being used. Like all my stamps and scrap booking stuff, from when I was a consultant.

I use a electric knife for cutting bread too, with out they are door stops, my mother didn't teach me how to cut bread either Katie.lol
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Katie what sort of knife do you use? I have a width of trident bread knife. I find if the bread is completely cooled it is much easier to slice. Practice helps improve the cutting efficiency.
