Hi, I had no idea I had to update my EDC ?? it was printed in march 2011 , Do I need to call my thermomix lady and get a newer one? PS Why didn't she sell me a new one

You don't have to update your EDC. A lot of people have just decided to as they would like the new one.

I bought the new edition of EDC which arrived the other day and I am pleased I did. My 4 year old one was a bit worn and tired.  The new one is fresh looking and. I like the new size.

My original one is trashed. I spilt water on it and the pages are all stuck together and a lot of recipes are unreadable. But I don't like the new, non bound version so while I need one - I don't want to get it!

I find the format of the new one really good. nice big clear recipes and more pictures.

I love it too, I hated the old spiral bound one.  Hopefully this is the way HO will go now with all future publications.

That is strange Judy as my copy is a bound copy and the old one is a spiral bound. What  is going on?

Lol! Actually I liked the spiral better as I could bend it all the way back and show jut the page I needed.

Yes there's that about it Gert but then the pages fall off the spiral with age and it becomes very tatty.  I just put something heavy on the other page to hold it down now.  I do prefer big cookbooks.

I love spiral bound. Last time mine came off the spirals I put it back on, got some pliers and squished all the spirals together. I still haven't bought the new one even though my old one is disgusting.
