I agree Hally. I thought this book sounded more kid/every day friendly although there are some beautiful sounding recipes in the other one.

I am so tempted to buy this book but want to see what Tenina new book is like first. As I don't use my credit card over the net, Tenina was very helpful and allowed me to purchase it over the phone with her. Any ideas how much Teninas new book will be?

My copy arrived today. I am so pleased with it.

Mainly very healthy recipes, a lot are gluten free. Most of the recipes use ingredients that I like to cook with and it is set out so well.

I think this is the best TM book I have bought. ;D

I received my copy today and love it.
Am feeling unwell so haven't cooked anything but a lovely book to ponder.
Thanks to all of you on the forum as I hadn't been aware of it until I read your reviews.

chorizo and balsamic fetticcine - Quick Fix in The Thermomix
« Reply #80 on: February 18, 2012, 08:24:53 pm »
This recipe has quickly become a family favorite!
It is a well set out easy to follow recipe which has required no tweaking.
It is very tasty and a great meal for a busy family in the middle of the week as it is easy to prepare.
If there are any leftovers (rare) it is great to take for lunch the next day.
Thanks Alyce ! This book and this recipe are winners in this home.

I feel remiss that I have not added my thanks Alyce for another wonderful TMX resource - your success is obviuosly the result of much dedication and hard work.  My copy arrived in record time so a very belated thanks from one appreciative CQ fan.  :)  :)

This book sounds really appealing, I have one question though, can some of the main meal recipes can be adapted to not include meat or chicken. I have a lot of recipe books that I only use a few recipes from and I am running out of cupboard space! Many thanks. :-\ :-\

Hi Aimee! Thanks for the question - there are over 100 recipes in the cookbook and 75 of them are vegetarian, with a further 2 having vegetarian options. I am not sure if you eat seafood or not but on top of those 75 recipes there are a further 8 seafood dishes.

In regard to main meals, there are 13 that have meat or chicken in them.

Hope that makes sense! Any further questions please do not hesitate to ask on the forum or email me at alyce@alycealexandracookbooks.com

Cheers,
Alyce
