I asked my in laws whether they have used the Aldi dehydrator Fundj, and no they haven't.  Probably just collecting dust lo. That's probably what it would do here too maybe after an initial burst !  I might borrow theirs to see what I think since they're not using it lol.

Just checking if anyone ended up buying one of the Aldi Dehydrators and if so, what are your thoughts.  Looks like they have them on sale again tomorrow.....

I have the catalogue for Aldi, specials start tomorrow. One year warranty, it has three trays, it's only warm air drying like the others so it would be ok don't quite know what the size is.

You are right Uni.  Sale starts on Wed not tomorrow.  Getting my days mixed up.

I see they also have an icecream maker for $24.99.

Uni this is the first time I've done this, I bought dried ones from the supermarket, (no oil). I'm just going to keep checking them until they are paper dry. They have been in about 2 hours I will turn them off when I go to bed, I'll tell you tomorrow how long they took.

The dried ones from the supermarket or anywhere are still too moist to make the salt with they have to be super dry , it has taken about 6 hours so far and most are ready.
