Katheryn when our adult dd moved back home while waiting for a house to become available we made her pay a third of the cost of the cleaning lady. She wasn't impressed but we gave her the option of doing her share of the cleaning instead and she opted to pay. There is only DW and myself so there really isn't alot of cleaning needed but we both work hard and I spend a couple of hours a day training for triathlons. I would rather pay someone to clean so we can enjoy our time away from work.
I have both sons home at the moment working here, so should have though to charge board and use it to pay a cleaner. Trouble is, when kids are home helping on the farm, it doesn't count....
If I was to post here it would be an essay. So I'm not going to say a thing.... ...well maybe that it feels that I do everything ... sometimes, one person may do something...but most times its left up to me and DH to keep the house running ticketyboo...and then most times I have to clean up after DH cos he must be Blind Freddy if he thinks he's cleaned properly...
Dashingden I didn't realise you were a West Aussie and work for the dreaded Ed Dept. I may have run into you some time when I was working.
