I still cook a hot traditional Christmas lunch as well as a Roast every Sunday, but then again I am in Tassie and the occasional 'hot' day is nothing compared to what most of you experience for weeks and months on end  :(

There is some advantage to living in a cold climate, isn't there  ???  ;)

I made a Taco Meat Sauce for the very first TMX meal. I must have been felling very confident with 'Beryl' as to make this I first had to search for a recipe and ended up putting two recipes together because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I still have my scribbled notes blu tacked to my kitchen wall!

Hi CP63. Yes I used the seasoning and then had to 'discover' how to brown the mince, etc, etc. The seasoning is great...very yummy and got DS's approval.

First thing made in TMX, ?  You will have to ask the chooks.  I couldn't believe that anything could mince/shred so quickly.

Back in the 1980's I made curried carrot and celery soup. It is still one of my favourite soups.

Having had it less than two weeks, it's easy to remember.

I made marinated lamb leg steaks in the varoma with steamed potatoes and carrots (I had to use up the lamb steaks so decided to look up some recipes. . . not something I would immediately associate with TMX)
