Doesn't make sense Halex.  ???
After reading this on Sat night I did some for the girls tea to try it out, I put 6 in (and my red thing in the centre just cuz I could) and did 600ml water, sp1.5 for 12.5min, all were perfect soldier eggs, evenly cooked etc. So don't understand how yours cook so unevenly?  ???
:D

I've read through that link a few times and the eggs look great but we aren't big boiled egg eaters so have never cooked them like this.

Hally are your eggs all the same size? I find sometimes if I buy free range from the market they can all be slightly different.

I'm not sure where I got this from (on this forum somewhere I think  :) :)) but it has always worked for me. I only do one "layer" of eggs in the basket.

1.Place 500g water in TMX.
2.Place eggs in basket and program Temp Varoma, speed 1 and times as follows:
(I would say these times are for very large eggs)
11 mins  - liquid yolk and creamy white
12 mins - creamy yolk and firm white
13 mins - softish yolk
14 mins - quite firm yolk
15 mins - hard boiled eggs
If your eggs are small, reduce time.

this is awesome :)
as long as you keep eating my pancakes .....i will stand here and keep flippin them out filled with nothing but love in my heart 'cause you chose my table to sit at =)P

Absolutely great to see you posting PAAF. How are you and what have you been doing. I have been wondering how your procedure went and if it  was successful and are you a happy camper. I hope all is well with you . We do get a bit concerned when we do not hear from some of our forum members and are therefore delghted to see you.

That is a very useful post on eggs, especially as we have so many new members without a lot of experience with the  Thermomix . Thanks for bumping.

I've just started boiling eggs in the TMX and didn't realise how easy and convenient it is.

Did you have to ask how much water and for how long and what speed wonder or did you just do it? LOL!

I always use the thermomix. It's the only way to boil eggs as far as I'm concerned.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
