Courton, that is awful.!!! I have just done a test run on these for the cooking class i am doing next Friday. I cooked them at 200 FF which is about 220 without fan. 20 mins, turning them around after 10 mins. Try 200 for 15 mins and then give them another 5 mins. if they do not look cooked. I also brushed them with egg wash, for Judy, as she doesn't like the sticky. Didn't make them much darker. I have taken a photo , will post later as camera has gone flat. Please have another go as these are just the best buns. ( I know I shouldn't say that.) Let me know how you go .

I made another batch today.
I didn't use any other fruit but sultanas, I think I was a little heavy handed with them 200g. I am sure they will taste good

Chookie, thanks. Yes when I started making bread about 8 months ago, I thought goodness what a lot of effort, now it would be rare for me to buy a loaf.

I'm going to try these today, thanks chookie.
Hally if you put them in a smaller tin to that they are close together, they'll join up and will rise up instead of out.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
