Buying replacement blades/bowl but no consultant:(
« on: April 06, 2012, 05:58:19 am »
I don't have a consultant. Mine disappeared straight after my purchase years ago.

I would love to replace my bowl and blades as things just aren't turning out the same as they use to.

This might help me get my thermi buzz back.

Can I go direct to HO I live in the same suburb.

?????

I could just call couldn't I lol

Yep I think that's all you need to do is give them a call. Then you could pick it up directly from them. Save on postage and waiting. :)

You don't even need to phone them or go down there as they now have an online store you can order from. You should only need to replace your blades if they aren't working (plenty of threads about overloading them and damaging them on here) unless you have damaged your bowl as well.

Much cheaper to replace your blades, though you can't buy and extra bowl from the online store, you would need to speak to HO about that. If you ask one of the consultants nicely from the forum (that are in your area) I am sure they would adopt you  ;) ;)

Ah thanks faffa.
I'd love to be adopted although I am in the same suburb as HO does that matter?

Actually faffa you know what I think my blade and bowl are ok now I took some advice off here and washed the bowl with lemon juice and that cleaned the burn off the bottom and the blade well I think it has a bit off life left. I think it's been 4 years? Do they go this long?

Yes they will last that long if you look after them. I have had mine for 4 1/2 years and it was also my demo machine so it had a large amount of work to do (we are a family of 7 so it gets a work out of its own here lol) If it is chopping ok and the bowl isn't damaged then I would say it is all good. The thing that you may need to replace at some time is your lid seal should it start leaking at high speed with liquids.

You can be adopted by any of the Perth consultants. I had a few that I had adopted but I just resigned this year to spend some time looking after me after a pretty full on year last year.

Put the call out for someone ;) ;)

I didn't know that Kathryn, great move - a bit of R & R never goes astray and you have plenty to keep you busy at home as well as taking extra good care of yourself.  Great loss to the company though.  :-*

I hadn't really put it out on the forum JD :D :D I sent an email to all my customers and also asked Cookie to remove my details from the consultants thread.

My health is in pretty poor shape. I thought I was just run down from looking after Mum for the last 12 months or so but no I need to put some good focus and attention on me for the next couple of months and all should be good  ;) ;)

I hope so Kathryn, it is so hard to take care of yourself when you are looking after others.  Big hugs  :-*
