Poor little Tassie devils, when I was young they were everywhere. But you rarely see them in the wild now.

All those who attended Thermofest received a promo for Devil of a Cookbook which contained three recipes from it.  The book was launched by Grace and Fiona in Hawaii and Fiona is travelling around Australia to do launches elsewhere as soon as the book is available.  From what we heard at Thermofest it is a bit behind schedule.  I think the Tasmanian launch is set for May.  If there are definite facts we can broadcast them but there is not much to say yet until the book is out.  Thank you to the people who are aware it is coming and are sharing the information here on the forum.  I hope I am correct in saying that the book will be $40.  Nobody will be getting any profit from it in the distribution chain.  All the profit will go to the Devil Island Project.

I would hate to fork out for this and then have it go the way of Full Steam Ahead - I've hardly touched my copy.

This book is a compilation of 10 recipes from 10 countries Thermomix recipe web sites. all of the recipes  have been published on the web. The book is the  4th in the series of  Vorwerk  Thermomix cookbooks. It  has a lot of home cooking and some interesting recipes. My recipe for chicken liver pâté is in it. Nothing special about that one at All. Reviews here.

LMT, I think it is much better than Full Steam Ahead.  Have you checked out the contents list to see if any recipes appeal to you? I have marked well over 50 recipes that I would like to try if I had the time.  I know I won't get around to doing anywhere near that many but I always make a list from all my recipe books and just browse that list from time to time to see if anything jumps out at me on the day.  The recipes are fairly simple.  Not sure how they are going to market it though, you may have to have a demo to be eligible to purchase.
