I would look at the interviewer like they were crazy and asked why on earth they wanted to put an elephant in the fridge?

I hate dumb questions like these - I mean truly unless it is a customer service role where you get dumb questions from the public how does it help them assess if you can do the role?

So, did they ask about the elephant?

Now the waiting begins.  I reckon you've got more than a good chance of success - you have the experience and you are willing to work weekends, which the regular staff probably aren't so keen on doing.

Good luck Mandi.  What do we tell them when they call 'sorry she wouldn't have time to work, she is always either cooking or on the forum'  :D :D :D  Seriously though, if it all went well, it probably will be a good outcome.

Judy please lie ;D but if I get the job I will need to cook for the residents of the group homes (although without a TM :( how will I cope? )
And no they didn't ask about the elephant :( I was all prepared as well.
Seriously though I have to ring them back tomorrow with to phone references from my previous Job. But as people come and go so much I have to check who is there still that can be a referee for me.

You just tell them to ring all of us. You work hard for all of us. We will give you a reference.

Apparently DS (5) knows how you cook an elephant.
Step 1. Get a really small elephant
Step 2. Start from the trunk and place in the TM while blades are spinning and chop up until all done. Lol
Not sure what you do with it them. ;D
