Might be possible mcmich. As soon as we know he dates I will,be looking for the easiest way to get there. There are flights from Newcastle to  Perth on Virgin too if that is easier for you.

Anyway we will sit back and wait for details then  try to fit in as best we can.

Williamstown would be easier - didn't know they had flights. Will leave from where ever fits in best with everybody. I would even stay in Perth overnight if it easier. Are we the only two from the East going over?
You're right will be able to co-ordinate when there is a date.

I will have to say NO to this one sorry. Just can't afford 2 flights. Armidale to Sydney then Sydney to Perth. Also have my 3 nights away at conference in July. Even tho it is all free I will need to spend some time in the shop after.
Perhaps us Eastern sides could have a get together?

Yahoo! I  found a warm jacket I lent to a friend  about 8 years ago. I forgot she had it dry cleaned  and gave it back. It was in a closet I never use but DH said he thought I had a jacket and there it was.  About 12 years old  and not very stylish but  WARM And FITS , well sort of.

Now for a pair of shoes as all I own are sandals.

Lol Gert , those coming from the western part of Australia will be all rugged up and those coming from the eastern part with be in tshirts and shorts.

Wow Faffa a normal car would feel real weird. I love my 7 seater and it feels strange sitting in just a normal car after so many years driving larger vehicles. We started with a Nissan patrol, then a Mazda mpv, now we have a Kia carnival. DH has a land cruiser 8 seater.

lol Dede not only is it a normal car it is a littlest car!! (Holden Astra) unfortunately my beloved Chrysler Voyager died after we hit something on the freeway (still fighting the insurance company on that one ...) anyway DS number 2 is about to get his license (a few years late) and has purchased this lovely car and told me I can drive it until he gets his licence in about 7 months - think I might keep him  

as for lifts, we can certainly work out times etc, even if they are different. I would have to work on Friday and work only about 20 min from the airport so could always be packed and ready to go from work and pick up on my way ... it will all work out as we will make it

CP, after much deliberation and being urged by DH to just put him in a nursing home and go away and enjoy myself, I am going to do my best to get there.  Please add me to your list and as soon as you come up with the dates (I will work around anything you come up with) I will start negotiations here with firstly, relatives and friends then, as a last resort a nursing home.
