I don't think I'd use Paprika if it wasn't on my computer (which is a Mac, btw). I've found it too fiddly to add recipes on the iPhone or iPad. I love having the recipes, shopping list and meal plan on those devices, though.

So would I be better off with something else? Ideally I'd like to be able to import recipes from here and other blogs /websites, as well as add my own converted recipes. I really like the meal planning and shopping list functionality as well. I currently have a PC, the iPad and an Androind phone (but am hoping to get an iPhone soon). I am not a techno-phobe, but I am fairly clueless as to how they work.

Sorry to bump this, but wondering if anyone can advise the best app for recipes? Still have not done this yet, but I really need to... Too many pieces of paper floating around!

So far we seem to have a choice:

Paprika
Recipe Book
Living Cook Book
Handy Cook Book

I'm very interested in the feedback for each as well.

I'm still using My recipe book and find it great. I haven't tried any of the others so can't comment on them. :)

I downloaded paprika last night as it was only $5.50. Will have a bit of a play over the weekend

I use Evernote. I have it on the computer and the ipad. They synchronise themselves. It's great. (and free)

We use evernote and sync between ipads and iphone. We've been having a few problems lately with it not syncing between the iphone and ipad properly which is messing up our shopping list. i think it might be human error on DH's part but he won't let me tell him he might be doing something wrong.

I have Evernote on my iPad, iPhone & my laptop. I sync them all which is fine, but I have a question. When I'm on the iPad & find a recipe to add to Evernote, I cant add it straight there.  When I highlight it only comes up as copy. Can I add a recipe easily?
Thanks

I have only added recipes on PC, iPad is charging otm so will try later. PC is outside in office so in the winter don't go out at night, to cold.
