Post by: brazen20au on September 24, 2009, 11:34:28 am: we're about a 20km drive from the city centre but canberra's not really skyscrapers anyway, it's a very pretty city :) we are pretty much as far north west as you can get and only a block from the end of the suburb :) one thing i really wanted was a view as i grew up with a beautiful view and really miss it when there isn't one.

I got a text from my "second Mum" who lives in Cairns this morning to let me know and also tell me she was ok (she has asthma. I have to admit I was surprised it had made it that far.
