The monster mississippi mud cake was a big hit, They reckon it was the best they tasted ;D Pretty happy since it was my first try.  Didn't have the heart to tell them it was dead easy with the thermomix.... 6 minutes and it's in the oven  :) Photo will come when I can get one.

Chit Chat / Re: what to do with pomegranate??

Hi Karen, We have a Pomegranate tree in our garden and I have used the juice to make a sauce (reduction) with roast pork!! Haven't done it in a thermomoix yet as I am new to the machine. But it is also nice in ice-cream or eaten fresh.
To loosen up the capsils roll it on your bench whole, cut in half place cut side down and whack the outside of it with a wodden spoon to get as many of them out!! :)

cool I made it for my daughters 6th birthday...before thermomix, it took 3 packets to make. It does look great when done just worried it might be a bit childish for her. I also ice with cream cheese in middle and cover in whipped cream!!! will try those recipes to see which works best  :)

I made these bikkies last week and decided that I couldn't be bothered rolling out. However I did end up with over 100 bikkies :D
Which isn't so bad as I have 5 children.
I loved this recipe and will be using it in the future a lot more!!!

Thanks guys, We have been trying heaps of different recipes, the favorite by far is the apple rhubarb with the crumble!!! ;D Even my husband ate it (he isn't a fan of rhubarb).

Just a question how good is the ice-cream and does it make 1 litre????

Look forward to more experiments :)
