Makes 15-20 balls (egg free, gluten free, dairy free, processed sugar free)
Ingredients: - 25 grams Cacao Nibs (or 50 grams Cocoa if you don’t have access to cacao) - 120 grams Dried pitted dates - 50 grams Walnuts - 1 teaspoons of Tahini - Coconut to roll
What to do: o Grind cacoa nibs for 15 seconds, speed 9 o Add all other ingredients, except coconut, and blitz for 20 seconds, speed 8. Add more tahini if the mix is too dry o Using wet hands, roll into walnut-sized balls, and roll in coconut o Put them in the fridge to firm up
For something different: - Use a combination of other dried fruit to mix up the flavours, such as prune or dried apricot - Roll in sesame seeds or cocoa, if you prefer

Good point Judy, I'll definitely add it in my next review. Thanks for the suggestion, Lisa

Hi, I've just returned from Thailand, where I ate more watermelon than any other food this week! It was spectacular. So, obviously, I came home and ate some more.
Watermelon Smoothie:
3-4 chunks of watermelon, straight from the freezer 1 kiwi fruit with the gnarled ends chopped off, but don't bother peeling.
Blitz on speed 8-9 for 20 seconds
Add a big blob of yoghurt, 150g of milk, and a sprinkle of chia seeds
Whizz up on speed 5 for 1 minute.

Hi everyone, I'm Lisa, from Melbourne. I got my thermie about 2 years ago, and love it. In fact, I rarely cook in any other way. I'm in a wheelchair, and I found that my "thermonuclear husband" has taken out all the physical tasks of cooking, and allowed me to be creative. I've been so creative, in fact, that I've written 2 cookbooks. I noticed that some of my friends with thermomixes were not getting great use out of them, and one friend stated that the recipes used too many ingredients for a busy mum to remember to buy at the supermarket. So....I developed 2 recipe books of 5 ingredients or less. You can download them now from www.thermocookbook.com The first book is free Cheers, Lisa
