Starters and Snacks / Re: small pizza's with philadelphia

yes, very easy to make!! I hope you will enjoy them! :)

(Bedlam...I tried to upload normal photos, but they were too big  :( so I copied them on PowerPoint, grouped them, and then reduced the size all together in paint! I'm sure there is a better way for doing it, I'm not that great with the computer...BUT...it worked! ;D)

when I was given this recipe I was a bit sceptical, as it's not a pizza in the proper sense, but after trying it...I do recommend it! :) it's quick, tasty and very easy to make  ;) ;)

Small pizza's with Philadelphia

Ingredients:
250gr flour
250gr Philadelphia (light would do as well)
50gr butter
a pinch of salt

Preparation:
Place all ingredients in the TMX bowl…4 minutes ::
Turn out on to a board and make your desired small pizza's size (I used a glass). Put some passata (tomato sauce) previously seasoned with salt, pepper, oil and oregano (or whatever you like).
Bake for 15 minutes at 180C. After that, add some mozzarella cheese and ham (or again whatever you like) and bake for other 10 minutes.

Enjoy it!!  ;D

Cakes / Orange cake (Plumcake all'arancia)

I got this recipe from my cousin in Italy, and I don’t know if it has already been posted in the forum, as I’m new here. But after looking at so many delicious recipes from you  ;D ;D…I wanted to contribute  ;) Although from the picture it doesn’t look anything special…give it a try and let me know!  ;) My husband loves it!!  ;D ;D

Ingredients:
- 1 orange (juice and zest)
- 170g soften butter or margarine
- 250g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 50g milk
- 250g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder (~15g)

Method:
Preheat the oven to 160C (the recipe said conventional oven, but mine is fan-assisted).
Place the orange zest into the TMX bowl, mix speed 7 for 10 seconds.
Scrape down sides (I usually mix it again for other 5-10 seconds).
Add soften butter, sugar and eggs, and mix speed 4 for 40 seconds.
Add milk, orange juice and flour from the MC hole, and mix speed 5 for 30 seconds. Without stopping the blades, add the baking powder and mix for few extra seconds or until mixed through.
Pour it in a lightly greased tin (I used baking paper) and bake for ~ 45 minutes.

My husband loves the banana loaf in the recipe book...but this one sounds 100 times more delicious!!! I'm pretty sure he will love it!! I never used cardamon. Can it be replaced with something else??

I would love to try this recipe (I'm relatively new in using the Thermomix). Anyway...I'm not sure what you mean by "cut with MC". ??? ??? could you please explain?
thanks!   ;D ;D

Recipe Requests / rubarb
« on: June 27, 2014, 04:54:52 pm »
hello,

I got some fresh rubarb from a friend, and I don't know what to do with it. I read somewhere of "Apple Rubarb Crumble with lemon-lime custard" that sounds delicious. Does anybody have the recipe for doing it with the Thermomix? or recommend me any other worth-to-try recipes?

thank you
