A lazy day here today no cooking so far or house work. I went to do some sewing this morning but machine is playing up so that will need to go in for a service so sat down & doing knitting while children play. I should sit down tonight & do meal plan for the coming week.

For dinner tonight we are having Harvest nut roast with a tomato glaze served with cauliflower & steamed veg with a cheesy white sauce then to finish off Blood orange sorbet. The smells coming from the kitchen is wonderful. The TM has given us the change to eat food I have never dreamed of making

Cakes / Re: Vegan Carrot Cake Slice« on: October 28, 2014, 12:28:05 am »Thanks Chookie, would be lovely as a dessert with some custard as it is fairly dense. Unfortunately it then stops being vegan - will look forward to having it with custard when off the study. You could make a custard using almond, soy or coconut milk if you wanted vegan. I will make this today & Quirky Cooking coconut caramel custard there is a vegan version use cornflour in place of eggs 13

I have been using Jo's recipes for a while from her blog & love them. I make a lot of raw food recipes so always have nuts on hand I buy them in bulk from either Gaganis if your in Adelaide or for various places online depending on there price. Last night we had the paprika chicken. This is the first book on my list to buy and I am holding off to see if it comes out early next near in the chip

My TM5 arrived last night so far I have made stock concentrate, Pumpkin risotto, fruity dream & this morning bliss balls, porridge cooking at the moment then will get some bread going. So far so good, the porridge has come out super creamy, was not keen on the risotto recipe but will search for some other risotto recipes today. I have a couple of questions any tips to get smell out of lid as it smells of the stock I have had bicarb on it over night & tried putting it in the freezer. All so where do I fine the changes to the recipes in the book/chip the ones where there was errors.
