Just received a call from a nice Vorwerk representative who advised that the shaking is perfectly normal. However, when making dough the machine should never be left unattended - this is due to the way the machine is built. What a relief.

I think next time I make dough I will keep hold of it - for my liking it wobbles a bit too much! 

I'm happy with my TM21, so let's hope we'll cook together for many years to come

I have recently purchased a brand new, boxed tm21. I'm happy with it, except for one thing: it shakes badly when I put chunks of food to mix or make dough  . I've made two short movies and posted it on youtube:

If anyone's had tm21 in the past, or still have one now, please let me know if this is normal, or whether I should contact the seller to return it. I know that tm21 hasn;t got the same level of support on the sides - it's only held by the handle by a metal rod, so maybe this is natural?
