Youth is wasted on the young Judy.
Bri g on Benjamin Button I say.
I always find a good sit in a spa bath fixes mine. Sadly we dont have one any more so painful massage does me too. Not as nice.

I do t know about the food grade. However horses are far more sensitive than us. Thats why they die from colic (indegestion to us)  because they cant vomit.
Horse skin like dogs is very sensitive. So most shampoos. Medications (topical) etc are suitable to peope with sensitive skin also.

I will wade on in here if i may.
Not for a bad back really. But for sore muscle/ strained back etc.
Go to a saddlery or produce store and buy a tube of Rapid Gel. It is fantastic stuff. Nothing sinister in it, just camphor, menthol etc. Horses have far more sensitive skin than us, like dogs. So safe for them is usually safe for us. It is fabulous stuff. My saddlery sells more for people use than horsey use,:). My only complaint is that i have to hide it or i never have any if the horses need it, my hubby and my soccer mad son are always pinching it.

Im right onto that Cookie 1.  :)
I made quick ciabatta bread from the forum files yesterday.
I was a little concerned at how much it vibrated the thermie.
It is delicious though.
I like soft crust sometimes and crusty other times. The buttermilk bread recipe from the basic cookbook i have made about half with the melted butter ( very crusty) and half without. Not nearly as brown and softed crust.
Ve just marinated a couple of packets of chicken for quirky cookings chicken with coconut rice and satay sauce recipe.
And downloaded the snap recipe app , i found that info on the forum. Too
Also how to take a photo of a recipe on my ipad so i can save them.
Im Loving the forum.

Thanks Cookie 1  i was wondering   I slice mine hot or cold. I don't have a problem with most breads. But then i have been making bread by hand for years. Mostly i add water to the oven for a nice crust, so that is perhaps why it is easy to slice hot.   I bought a bread maker many years ago, used it a few times and didnt love it. Then about 6 years ago i got interested in sourdough and learned breadmaking properly.   I love kneading bread. The only bread i dont make by hand is ciabatta, the sloppy dough is too messy, (though i have done it by hand a few times) i use my kitchenaid mixer for that. But bread by hand is very time consuming. The buttermilk bread recipe is so quick. Im loving it. And i love the flavour too. Yum.

It has cooled down to a balmy 29 deg celsius here (at 8am that is)    So ironing is really a chore.
Never mind I couldnt wait and cooked hubby mushroom risotto for lunch.  So easy i nearly did it twice :).  He loved it.

Ive just made hubby mushroom risotto.  Wow so easy.
I even had a bowl and loved it and neither mushrooms or risotto are a favourite with me.
Love my Thermie after only 5 days. :)

Hi
I cook for 3 of us mostly. My husband, myself and our 'still at home' son.  I think he is here forever actually :)
I have been cooking up a storm since i got Thermie less than a week ago. Im really loving it.
Todays lunch was mushroom risotto, because my husband loves both risotto and mushrooms, it was so very easy and i reaaly loved it.
Now that is amazing because i can take or leave mushrooms. And i do not like risotto much.
Buttermilk bread ive made 5 loaves so far. I used to make my bread by hand. Im loving the buttermilk bread now.
I also have 4 batches of passionfruit curd, and both vegetable and chicken stock. Have made red curry duck and pork and prawn wontons in asian broth.  This machine is fabulous. As i know you all are aware.
