Hi Wendy and Judydawn
I am having the same problem on my iPad while I'm travelling in Poland. No trouble on my computer in Australia. I have managed to get to this section through Tapatalk which is an App I paid for. Do you think it is the iPad or not being in Australia??? 3

Bread / Spelt Bread Rolls in Basic Cookbook« on: September 19, 2012, 02:48:17 am »
Can this recipe be baked as a loaf instead of rolls? I'm not a very knowledgeable baker so need to ask this basic question.
Will the dough be too dense inside to cook properly? Any advice would be appreciated. 8
Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Liquid Measurements« on: September 19, 2012, 02:42:47 am »
Hi everyone ... I know this question has been in the forum before but the replies focused more on the various sizes of Tablespoons.
I would like to know if a Thermomix recipe calls for 20g oil, can I just add 1Tablespoon (Aussie one, of course). Or do I have to be guided by the Thermomix scales ... which would require more oil. 9

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Re: How to cook rice« on: June 21, 2011, 09:53:23 am »
I'm so happy to read all the help I see in this Forum.
I tried the rice tonight for the first time but didn't really want to cook the full 400g. If I want to just cook 250g of rice next time, can someone advise how much water to put into the jug. 11
Main Dishes / Re: Cacciatore Chicken Risotto - marmee« on: December 02, 2010, 10:47:40 pm »
Hi judydawn ... I always do and that's what I had thought. But when the recipe didn't specify, I wasn't sure. I'm one of those cooks who have to have exact instructions, unfortunately!
Thanks for your resply. 12

I've just come across this recipe and it looks great. One question regarding the rice ... you don't mention whether you used Arborio rice or just regular long grain rice.

Questions? Technical Issues? The Survival Guide / Oil and salt in Vege Stock Concentrate« on: June 23, 2010, 03:28:15 am »
I have a couple of queries on the vege stock concentrate:
The recipe calls for rock salt - can I use other salt, e.g. the lovely Murray River pink salt flakes? Oil - can I use Olive Oil or do I have to use vegetable oil? Looking forward to help as I tend not to be creative when following a recipe! Sammidog 15
Bread / Re: What size bread tin« on: October 30, 2009, 10:53:35 pm »
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Yes, for the basic bread recipe, about 100g of (I use) barley and 400-420g of baker's flour. I will try again with the larger size tin and report in! Thanks again. And yes, I am in Melbourne.
