Hi Thermomixer - I didn't have the tingling sensation with just frozen champagne but that sounds great, I'll have to try it with half / half next time. The more bubbles the better!

I hope you all had a great New Years, we sure did, thanks to the help of my Thermomix (the two sorbets and the lemon curd tarts made in the TM were a hit.)
Woerd - I'm orginally from Canada, where abouts do you come from? I lived in Southern Ontario before moving to Oz. 7

Hi Everyone and thanks for the warm welcome to your Forum.
I live down South in Onkaparinga Hills. We have 50 acres of land and we have just planned a few acres with fruit and nut trees. I'm sure next year I will give my TM a workout with all the fresh produce we will have. LIMONCELLO SORBET 2 cups of Ice Cubes 1/2 cup of sugar zest of 1 lemon, 120mls frozen lemon juice 120mls Limoncello Place sugar and zest in TM bowl for 10 seconds on speed 9 Add frozen lemon juice and half the ice cubes. Slowly turn speed dial to 10. Add remaining Ice cubes and Limoncello after 20 seconds and blitz for 1 min. Sorry didn't write down the weights (g) when converting recipe. Enjoy 8

Hi my name is Sara from Adelaide.
I've recently purchased a TM and have been cooking up a storm.... Which is usual for me but now it's just so quick with my TM - I Love it! For NYE tonight I'm in the process of making a Champagne Sorbet and a Limoncello Sorbet. It is going to be a hot one here in SA and I planned on entertaning outside tonight, so I thought it would be a nice way to cool the guest down. I look forward to having more of a browse around the forum in 2010. Happy New Years!
