Hi all, does anyone own the Kogan airfryer? I'd love to hear opinions on it. It's a third of the price of the Philips but is it a third of the quality as well?

I also bought this same loaf tin some 20 years ago from Simply No Knead. I love it! I followed their instructions at the time to "season" my tin before first use. I have never had a loaf stick. It's great.

I'm currently reading The Dressmaker by Rosalie Ham. An Aussie story. I'm about a third of the way through. It's ok. Good enough to keep going.

The Kindle Fire is in colour although I'm not sure of the availability of services on it in Australia. I looked at it when it came out quite some time ago but found we couldn't use it to its full extent. I also just want to read books. I prefer the plain ol Kindle. I have my iPad for all the other stuff. 😊

I have just picked over a dozen pumpkins from my garden so I came here to search pumpkin recipes. I came across this one and just had to try it. We loved it.
I did not have any Marscarpone so I decided to use Parmesan instead which we really liked.
The only thing I would change next time, and there will be a next time, is that I will use just half an onion. I cooked the onion for 5 minutes instead of the 3 minutes suggested in the recipe and I feel it could have done with even longer. The onion was very prominent in the finished dish.
If you like pumpkin and you like honey, you should enjoy this dish. I hope someone else will try it and share their thoughts on it.

Number 33. My favourite Tenina recipe is definitely the Lemon Curd. I've made it SO many times and everyone loves it.

Me " That's Orange!!!" DH " It's called Vintage Murano" Me "It's Orange!!" DH "It looked red on the colour chart "
We had a car that colour in the 70's. Dad always said it was red and I'd argue it was clearly orange. Ha ha! Love your new door colour.

I've had dairy goats in the past for a number of years and loved them. I miss them even though that was 20 years ago. They are the most wonderful animal. Like a sweet dog in temperament and so smart. They are very easy to handle and very easy to train. I've had dairy goats and angora goats. Two very different animals. The angoras were more like sheep but a bit easier in that they come to you rather than needing to round them up.
If you seriously want a decent dairy goat, find a reputable dairy goat breeder. There is a lot to learn if you want to keep her in milk long term. You can buy one in milk and just start milking which will then give you many, many months to learn all there is needed to know about breeding, etc. you will need some decent fencing but a full grown lactating doe is unlikely to jump any fences. When she has kids however, well they are a whole different ballgame. They will mostly stick with mum but will also probably go jumping and leaping over all sorts of obstacles in the name of fun. They are wonderful and entertaining to watch but you will need to be very prepared and ready for them. Best of luck.
