Its a beautiful orange and was the fashion for kitchen benchtops when we built our house nearly 40 years ago. Lime green and sofola gold (a deep yellow) were the other colours of choice. I have had a change since then and now its all coming back.

I had orange carpet and curtains in my lounge room and lime green in the kitchen troupie - it was in the mid 70's I think.

DH's family holiday house ( around the corner) was the same orange and Green. Was sold last year and refurbished now.

In our first house we had an orange kitchen and in the bathroom the colour was "pampas green"

Our house was of the same era. It had bright turquoise as its feature colour.

I can just picture it Judydawn; Ours was mid 70s as well. I remember bright orange scrim curtains. Things change and we all went for white or off white.

Gosh, I had forgotten about ORANGE - when we lived in Wales our carpet was orange, the seats were orange, the curtains were orange and I can tell you, CC, what you have got there IS NOT ORANGE!  It looks wonderful - a very happy colour.

My oops tonight comes from trying to clean some chicken out from under the blades. They are very sharp and you should never use your finger to try and get food out from under them. Lol

We had a car that colour in the 70's. Dad always said it was red and I'd argue it was clearly orange. Ha ha!
