Just had these for dinner, really light and tasty.  Even DH who doesn't like gnochhi ate them  :D  Will make them with spinach as well, next time.  The larger amount fed three adults, a hungry two year old and there was still enough for DH's lucnh tomorrow.

Glad I'm not the only one!  I'll ask about it when I ring customer service next week.

I've cooked rice a couple of times in the basket, but when I start the machine the blades chop into the basket a little bit, and there are chunks missing out of it now.  I open the lid, poke it a bit and it will work properly then when I turn it back on.  What am I doing wrong, is there a special way to put the basket in?

As the title suggests I made bolognese for dinner, as per normal, it has always worked before.  I noticed it was taking a loooong time to heat up to varoma temp, to really reduce the sauce, I kept having to add another 15mins to the cooking time.  So after about an hour it started to bubble.  Even when bubbling it didn't seem to have the same ferocity of bubble IYKWIM.
I cooked it for another half and hour (at least) to try and reduce it.  It ended up being like soup, really thin, and when I poured it out there is a thick burnt layer on the bottom.  I'm going to try to have to attack it with some steel wool  >:(

I have no idea what has caused this, my husband is livid and asking about refunds!  Anyone else had a similar problem??  I've only had the unit since November so will be ringing the service centre on Monday.

I should add that I live in Perth, and I have a 22 month old daughter and another (baby) on the way in January.  So I want to learn as much as I can now as I won't have much free time in the first half of next year!!!   ;D

Thanks everyone!  I just iced my chocolate cake and it was delish.  I can't believe how quickly I've turned in to a thermomix groupie.  I'm looking forward to cooking in it tonight.
I was telling my DH that it's not a very scary kitchen appliance, I read the EDC instructions once and feel like I've got the hang of things already.  Although it did take me 24 hours to figure out how to turn it on and off  ;D (I was switching it off at the wall).

Hi all, I'm very excited that my thermomix arrived yesterday!  So far I've made custard, pizza dough, butter and buttermilk bread.  Will be making apricot chicken for dinner tonight  ;D
