Bread / Re: Plain White rolls - no fuss
« on: August 15, 2011, 04:19:58 am »
Thank you so much for this recipe!  I have been trying to make bread for what seems like forever (pre thermomix days included) and stumbled across this recipe accidently last weekend.

It's a hit with the kids, easy to make, keeps well and economical!

Has anyone added grains or fruit to this mix?

I was a bit concerned that my mixture was too "wet" but they rolled well and after 12 minutes in the oven on 160 degrees (fan forced) they came out looking lovely.  The boys loved them!

Oh my goodness these were a hit!

My in-laws are vegetarian and this is the first ever recipe my father-in-law has requested for my mother-in-law to make.....massive compliment!

Thank you for the recipe - one son had three helpings, husband had more and quote "this is the best meal I've had in a long time" and that was from somone who thinks prawns are over-rated.

Guess we'll be having it again!

Judy, you have already been such a help and don't even know it....I often look at recipes and make those ones you have commented on!

Will give the choc-chip biscuits a go!  And thanks for the link...will have a look at that now!

Cookie1,

Well the list is endless.  I am quite fortunate in that they will eat pretty much everything...a good curry as I can bulk it up with rice, any pasta sauces, and stir-fry type dishes.....We also do a lot of baking so muffins, desserts, biscuits (I wasn't too fussed on the choc-chip ones in the Everyday Book but I'm sure there are plenty of others) and cupcakes so I guess it's just feeling my way around the website.

Introduce Yourself / Hi
« on: March 03, 2011, 03:51:44 am »
Well it's only taken me six months to introduce myself, although that doesn't mean I haven't been using the fabulous recipes everyone has posted on this site.

Thank you all of you who have helped me make my Thermomix the most valuable kitchen appliance I own by posting your recipes and converting my cooking style.

I am a mother to four young boys who are beginning to eat me out of house and home so I am looking for recipes that will fill the troops up and keep them going.

 :D

Bimby this is great - thank you.  I wasn't overly happy with the "original" version that came in the book but this now a favourite and just as easy!

Thanks for the recipe....my eldest has been asking for these for ages as apparently his lunchbox is too healthy (is there such a thing?)....

Very easy to make....my three year old loved it and proudly shows "his" cooking.
