sorry have been MIA, took the family on our first holiday in over 13 years, a 3 week driving hol to Qld, beautiful beautiful weather, came back with a tan (which hasn't washed down the drain yet) and then the office work grabbed me hehehe the 3rd world problems

Yes it sure is. Thanks for the heads up fruity. You wouldn't need to strain it using instant would you? I always have instant on hand but have to buy ground coffee in especially for this recipe. I haven't made it yet this year but now, knowing I have the ingredients on hand it won't be long.
nope, I didn't strain it. And have bought instant to make it again.

after an absolutely fantastic weekend away (hubby and I's first in over 5 years) it was a real fizz (yay bubbles type fizz) to see this thread is still going. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to write in it. What a truly wonderful forum.
