I made Swedish meatballs from Cookidoo tonight, the meatballs were good the sauce was a bit bland but maybe some salt & pepper added would do the trick.

Thank you for that, exactly what I needed to hear, I love the flexibility of my TM31 I can use it exactly how I want. An apprentice in the kitchen (does all the prep work) or a full on chef (makes meals and bread with ease) working on any recipe I choose not restricted to only those on Cookidoo. I actually subscribe to Cookidoo as I love to pinch a bit of this recipe and technique and add it to another recipe and there are many, many choices.
I have been looking into joining Teninas club, any thoughts? 5

Hi Cookie1, it was her review that actually made me think the TM5 might be a better option, I really need to go and see it in action

Hi JD, I love my TM31 and it certainly is looking a bit battered but has never skipped a beat! And I won’t be getting rid of it, I looked into purchasing another bowl but the cost of that led me to think that I’d be better off putting that money into a new or newish secondhand, perhaps.

Chit Chat / TM6 question« on: August 09, 2019, 10:23:00 pm »
Hello everyone, it’s been quite some time since I’ve popped in and asked a question but I am doing a bit of research. I am wondering whether to purchase a TM5 second hand or go with the TM6. I am going to go to a cooking class to see it demonstrated but obviously they will try and sell me a TM6. The reason that I’m hesitating purchasing a TM6 is I like to convert my own recipes and my much used TM31 allows me to do this, but can I only use Cookidoo recipes to access some of the TM6 functions?
Thanks for any advice 9
Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Quiche Lorraine MWOC pg 126« on: January 24, 2013, 08:12:48 pm »
I made this last night and it was delicious, the pastry is simple and the eggy cheese mixture a classic simple one with an amazing smooth creamy texture. I substituted the cheddar cheese for the gruyere and plain cream for the creme fraiche. Will definately make again 4/5

Buttercups I just purchased Cyndi O'mearas (sp?) healthy eating tm book $15 from HO and there are some great tips and recipes for using your varoma in there.
I have never had my varoma demo, I don't agree with it either and have taught myself how to use it, mostly from the recipes posted here 11

The only way to have frozen beans and carrots is to boil the b*****y out of them and stir through butter and salt when cooked

For those of us who like to print off recipes, finding ways to store them can be a challenge but I may have found the solution:

Soups / Re: Vegetable soup with bacon & pasta« on: August 23, 2012, 02:00:24 am »
This soup is delicious I am eating a bowl full right this minute!
I used carrots, cabbage and frozen corn as that is all I had and macaroni pasta, 1tbs of vegetable stock, 2 rashers of bacon. Thanks Maddy for another brilliant recipe. |
