Anyone having trouble with the edc polenta recipe- mine ended up gluggy and thick with lumps and tasted pretty terriblel?
And not to mention the polenta stuck on the bottom of the bowl...... ahhh

Thanks- good idea to not use any oil, will do that next time.

I used unsalted nuts and just added some sea salt.  Cleaning was not a problem at all!!

Hi Everyone,

was just about to start making the edc peanut butter but i dont have sunflower oil- could i use either olive oil, peanut oil or canola oil instead?

I ended up steaming it with soy and honey and did veggies at the same time. Yummo!!

Hi, just wandering if anyone has any tips on how to steam a chicken breast in the varoma.  Have had a quick look on here but cant find any topics on this?
Does it taste any good steaming it?

I was going to make butter tonight but all the cream at the supermarket was thickened- can you use thickened or will it not work ?

Ok thanks for advice. I used cold water so that's was probably the reason. Still tasted pretty good- but stayed quite thin, I like it a bit thicker. ;)

Can anyone help me with my pizza dough.  I followed the edc recipe and it turned out separated in little balls - when on interval setting does it need to be on reverse as well?

Also the dough didn't rise at all.  I kneaded the dough together and am cooking the pizza but not sure how it will turn out.

 Has anyone tried making scrambled eggs? Not sure if this is even possible but thought I'd ask whilst I am waiting for my bread to bake!!!!

I tried to halve the recipe for 2 serves- so that was probably the reason.  The oats stuck to the blades and the texture wasn't great. I should just stick to the original recipe until I am more familiar with the tm!!

Hi all, had my thermomix for a week now and have already made so many things- choc custard, bread, risotto, stock - just to name a few.

Tried making porridge this morning but turned out a bit of a flop.  Any tips?
 :)
