Yesterday we did a cooking course at the Agrarian Kitchen. It’s a world famous cooking school. This is my 4 visit. The class was called Tomato gluttony. It was very much hands on. Each pair made 2 recipes and at the end we all shared what we made, to take home. Taking a break in the middle, while the recipes were being processed, we had an amazing lunch. Freshly ground flour for a rye SD bread, lamb casserole, salads and a mulberry sweet. Surprises were the Kefir butter and the fresh ricotta. Before the start of the class, we picked tomatoes from the garden. Home today. Marina, I feel for you with that terrible trip out of Melbourne. We had the same experience when last down. 76

Then a ginger crunch slice and Donna Hays caramel slice also DGF had made a chocolate fudge. Apricot slice was made yesterday. Then we proceeded to package up slices cut into four . DGF labeled all the products- it was a massive day ! And yes due to the very bad weather it has been cancelled But the hospital store is going ahead so anyone missed out on realising it’s cancelled can still get a lot of products. Same amount of work , bring on Sunday and I’m going to say that has been a huge few days . Home dinner ready and early to bed for me . Bet you it doesn’t rain and no storm tomorrow!!

Double batch of Onion jam , zucchini relish ( that was prepared night before ) , kusundi Indian sauce that goes with everything ( finishing off this morning) We prepped tomatoes and onions to make tomato relish the next day . Than an apricot slice . We do it all on the stove in huge pots , one at a time as jarring up has its challenges if two ready at once . There is a slight chance that it maybe canceled so pausing this morning.
