Haha, welcome to the fold, Monnie! 
I found the price tag off-putting when I first heard too, but I'm so glad I took the plunge.  And the stuff I knew of from the demo was just the tip of the iceberg of what tmx can do!  If I'd known I'd use it SO MUCH, I would have done it sooner!

I had friends over in the weekend, and they were admiring my machine, and then nearly fell over when they heard the price, but then by the end, one couple was saying "let's buy it!"  ;D  (she's having to have quite a restricted diet, so making things like rice flour was quite appealing)

It took me 4 and a half years from when I first heard of it to buy one.
