I have used mine for smoking. I have 2. A large one , like yours but older and a smaller round one which I use all the time. I will probably roast the Turkey for CC,s lunch on the small one. I have the Weber BBQ book. very good. You need to play around with it and see how you can use it to do what you want, bit like the TMX.
