Made this today (and more FOSM first), only I cooked it in my pc.

Too hot to even go outside to the bbq, but to be honest, I prefer drumsticks cooked in the pc anyway so I cooked it in the same manner that I cooked the honey & hoisin chicken recipe that's on the forum.

For anyone interested this is what I did:

Immediately after making the marinade I poured it into my pc and placed the (skinned drumsticks) on top.  Placed the pot on a simmer mat and locked the lid.  Set to high pressure over medium heat and left it for about 10 mins.  I knew it wouldn't come to pressure just yet as there wasn't enough liquid in the pot, but what this does is help to release the liquid from the chicken.  After the 10 mins, I removed the lid and gave it all a stir, removed the simmer mat, locked lid again and brought to high pressure over med heat.  Once stabilised, cooked for 10 mins.

Released pressure using cwm,  removed the chicken from the pot into a large serving bowl, the meat was falling off the bones.  I returned the pot to the hob and simmered the sauce over med heat for about 6-8 mins stirring now and then until it had thickened but not too thick that it wouldn't pour.

I poured it over the chicken in the bowl and put this on the table with tongs and a spoon so we could spoon over some of the sauce over our chicken when on our plates.  It worked perfectly and this is the way I would make it again.

I served with a simple salad and pasta salad.

Thanks Cookie.  :D

I browsed the forum yesterday to make my weekly menu plan and remembered how much we enjoyed this when I made it last time. So I made it again tonight and it is still delicious ;D
For some reason it looks very different to my last lot. But it tasted great and that's the main thing ;)

Cookie can you please let me know how long you cooked this recipe in the airfryer.  I have linked the recipe to the other list but need a time and temperature.

Sorry Judy. I did notice that I hadn't said anything, but then completely forgot.
I can't honestly remember, but I cook most things at 180 and I think it would have been about 15 minutes for the breast and 20 or so for the
Thighs. Humble apologies.

Chicken dish looks delicious but as I don't have an air fryer or webber I will try in the oven. I too have been saving recipes to put into a book for my GD when she is old enough; I called it my Top Ten; love your name best JudyDawn. I think by the time my GD has her own kitchen everyone will own a TMX.
