I had to have a look at all these posts as my blades were a little crazy. They were going round but making a horrid noise. When I took the bowl out I could spin the blades very easily. Fortunately I had an old set I could use. This was in the 31 so I can't complain. DH still got his milkshake using frozen banana. 😄😄

It pays to have spare blades cookie.

I was going to order another set but DH has decided he is going to pull these apart and see what makes them tick. I have the TM5 so I won't be desperate if these others die too.

Still disappointing Cookie. At least you have a handy DH.  :)

I can't believe what happened to me this morning. Thought I would make a smoothie with left over fruit salad, threw in the fruit, yoghurt, ice and a cup of water then noticed water over my bench!!! Someone had put the blade in the jug on the machine without the base on. Sort of thing you read about! I hope it's ok. It was TM5 and my first reaction was to tip it over.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow when I will try and turn it on.

Denise, I remembered almost straight away to keep the TM 5 upright and tip the TM 31. Cross your finger for me.

I hope 5 goes well this morning. I think I will order  new blades for my 31, I can't complain after about 8 or 9 years.

Bedlam, I think the TMX5 is built to cope with that sort of thing.
