lol thermomixer..yes i dont think id get very far teaching the french to cook properly .more likely be the other way round !!..but could definately help discover new flavours and recipes for the local folk..they are very loyal to their traditions and 'terroir' flavours as im sure you know and arent big fans of chilli or spice or or or! French food is great but sometimes its same old same! With Australia and its multicultural flavours in the cooking with alot of focus on asian flavours thats all new but its getting more common. Like my grandfather says France wil end up bastardised like the rest of the world lol
yes seen the french website.one of the reasons i went searching for others....its not as good as this forum and recipes are hard to find but as of september they are planning on giving it a slight facelift and adding a recipe a day so hopefully it will get better. There are lot of recipes on the website already in the french thermomix books - usually the ones with the thermomix symbol are existing recipes and ones with a person are invented recipes.
i recently got hold of the french bread thx book and its fantastic..oz should look at doing one..has everything from baguettes and pain mie or sandwich bread to naans and gluten free to a thousand other pastry based recipes.
And thermomixer why would thermomix australia need to do the same with a forum like this!!
