I'm in the process of making this. Where did you use the pear juice Maddy? Did you put it in with the dressing?
I take it you steam the pears as you buy them in the supermarket, very firm and green?Is there anyway of making pear juice from a pear as it seems a waste to buy a whole container of it (especially in a health food shop) for just a couple of tablespoons. Having said that, I guess you would freeze some of the leftovers in ice-cube trays for the next time you wanted to make this salad. Could you use the juice from a tin of canned pears instead?
