This sounds like something funny. Will have to get someone to fill me in later. So disappointed I missed seeing you all. What a hectic day Friday turned out to be. DS1 and I were about to leave to head country to clean up my Mum's house after a breakin through the week when DS2 kicked his toe on the doorframe and lifted the whole nail off his 2nd toe as well as making a deep cut at the base of the toenail. It was really bad so off to the hospital we went. Luckily mt DH was able to meet us there so I was still able to get to mum's house and clean up. It is very hard to leave an injured child though.

Gosh VJH that was a bad start. Hopefully you got lots done on your Mum's place.

We had a Model A run today and the would you believe the morning tea stop was Tomato Lake. I was waiting for one of our members to go to the toilets but I didn't see anyone go. I had to stop 'loitering.'
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Ouch, that must have hurt your poor DS VHJ - hope all is well there and you managed to clean up Mum's place OK.  That would have been a distressing incident for her to have to cope with.

Luckily she doesn't know JD. She is living in care in Perth now so we didn't worry her about it. There wasn't a great deal of damage- just everything tossed about. We organised a skip bin & I manage to fill it in 6 hours so that tells you how much she had hoarded over the years. Anyway I am well on the way to have it cleaned ready to sell. Have been putting it off as there are so many memories attached to everything there but having 2 break-ins in 9 months is a pretty clear message that I have to get it done.
DS2 is being very brave and not complaining - even when he had to put school shoes on today for a school function

Sorry to hear your dear Mum needs to be in care VHJ - certainly best she doesn't hear what happened to her house. Sounds like you have did a great job in such a short time and seem to have broken the camel's back.
