I am sooooo happy  ;D

so far I have made pumpkin soup and chocolate custard, today will be using up some leftover cooked pumpkin to make some pumpkin scones and also make the obligatory vegetable stock!

Hi Knittercook,
I haven't looked at this post for a while and was thrilled to see that you got your Thermomix.  Hope you have a lot of fun with it.
BTW I visited your blog and loved your knitting.  Do you sell the items?  They were just gorgeous.
Cheers,

cgonsalv and johnro I am having a cooking ball  ;D ;D

Everthing is so easy and so much fun to make, so far only one disaster and that was the porridge from the EDC which if I had read the posts here first I would have discovered that it doesn't work  :'( which is why from now on I come here first before trying a new recipe from the cookbooks.  Tonight I am making pizza dough for the first time, I have always made my own in the breadmaker so it will be interesting to see how they go.

Thanks cgonsalv for your lovely comment about my knitting, it is my passion and what I do, yes to earn a crust.  I sell my knitted items here locally and online there are links to my online shops on my blog, I did put them here but not sure if it is allowed so I removed them.

I am going to start writing about my TMX adventures on my blog, which will be a lot of fun!

have a great day everyone,
Sharon

knittercook, how will you find time to cook food let alone start a blog about it when you do so much knitting - just spent ages looking at all your lovely hats etc and it took me back 30 years when my 2DD's & I used to knit animals to make a few bucks on the side.  I used to love knitting, it is so relaxing but I recently got rid of all my patterns to a retirement village fete as cooking and caring duties have now taken over my life. I knitted a beautiful white shawl 15 years ago for my 'grandparent's hope chest' which was never used as my DD wasn't into knitted baby things but I was thrilled recently to see 6 year old GD now loves it and even has it on her bed.  When she was last here for a sleepover, it came along too. When I look at it now, I wonder how I ever knitted something so big. Congratulations, your work is a credit to you.

Oh thank you so much, I really love what I do so hope it shows in my work  :)

I love the story of your GD shawl and that she is using it, I made my daughter a crocheted granny square one and it goes with her everywhere.  Her friends are all very envious as apparently granny squares are back in vogue again, who would have thought!

Knittercook I have just had a look at your blog. I adore your knitting, it is very creative. I used to knit years ago but haven't done so lately. My Mother was an awesome knitter, her stitches were always beautiful and even.
Judy on the topic of knitting for children etc, my Aunt crocheted me a round woollen shawl to be brought home from hospital in. Apparently Mum used it for  me and then 32 years later I used it to bring DD home in. It is beautiful and crocheted with much love I think.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
