I read somewhere if you sprinkle bi carb on onions they will cook and caramelize faster, I think I used too much, within minutes it was onion soup  ;D
i don't need a recipe i'm italian

The bicarb helps to dehydrate the onions faster. Here is a link for the tmx version i have not tried though.
