Warm Nut Sauce (Spanish recipe)

Name of Recipe:  Salsa Templada de Frutos Secos (Warm Nut Sauce) – not tested

Tablespoons are European ones, ie, 3 teaspoons

Serves:  Not stated

Ingredients:
160g oil
40g butter
30g soya sauce
3 tbsps mustard
25g walnuts
25g pine nuts
25g almonds
A few drops of Tabasco

Preparation
Chop the nuts in the  *: 5 seconds / Speed progressively 5-9.  Remove and reserve.
Put all the ingredients, except for the nut mixture into the  *: and cook 4 minutes / 60° / Speed 4.
Add the nut mixture and cook for a further 1 minute / 60° / Speed 1.

Tips/Hints:  As its name indicates, the sauce should be served warm.  You can use it as a dressing for salads such as chicory, asparagus, cabbage,  lettuce etc.  It is also good with cooked vegetables.

Origin:  This is a translation of a recipe in Salsas y Aliños con Thermomix (Susaeta Ediciones)

This one sounds really nice JB. Thanks for taking the time to translate all of these for us. How's the back holding up with all the typing?

Thanks TP.  I just have to keep getting up and walking around.  If sitting for any length of time, I have to sit on a hard chair which gives you a numb bum as well  :(
