Doing your bit for the community Chookie, right up your alley and they picked the right person to ask.  Hopefully the guys can sit around enjoying your food and not have to race off to fight fires.  Well done you.

Thanks Katie and Judy.  I enjoy doing it.  It is a bit of a challenge as it has to be something that they can grab and go if necessary.
Might make some Muffin tops in the trays that you gave me, Judy.

What a fabulous thing to do Chookie - good on you!  I really admire what the CFS people do - you really are wonderful for being so supportive of them.

Took a leaf out of your book Chookie, and stole your idea.   Made a double batch of these this morning - one batch blueberry and one batch raspberry. DH just took them down to the local CFS station, and apparently they offered me a job there  :D :D :D

Beautiful muffins, and such an easy recipe CP.  Thanks  :-*

Good on you, Karen! Thinking along those lines too. when the time comes. Our RFS is about 10 mins away Lucky so far but it's early yet. Feel so much for those affected in SA and Vic.... :(

Karen,  that is great.  I think the thought that the community is behind them is as important as the food.
GF,  go for it if you get the chance.

To be honest cookie, it distracted me and gave me and the kids something to do while waiting for news on the fires - stopped me being so nervous.  And it was the least we could do for those out fighting the fires.

Just shows what lovely people we have on our forum.  Not that we needed any more proof of that.
Well done Karen and Chookie.

I can imagine how you felt Karen. It must have been terrifying.
