Mama Fergie, try a lunch booking ours for a group of 12 was only booked a few weeks in advance and while the restaurant was full there did seem to  be a few places available, lots of people coming and going and it seats quite a few. I was surprised I enjoyed it so much after being extremely disappointed with The Press Club. But Melbourne has so many amazing restaurants I'm sure you will eat very well.

Amazing food and service at cumulus inc
Pretty good food at byblos bar very generous portions
Really enjoyed the sake and sashimi at aka tombo the proprietor was really friendly and we got to try several japanese whiskies.  If you go here, do eat the green tea ganache, it was brilliant.
And for cocktails you can't go past lily blacks very knowledgable staff who will make you anything you desire and will also come up with great combinations based on what you tell them you like.

Hope you have an excellent trip.

Just in now. DD's friend took us to tapas bar called Choo Choo's in Swanston street. Was fun and food nice.
Got booking for Hellenic republic for Tuesday so looking fwd to that. Thanks Wonder
How was Hard Rock Hally?
Our young ones always enjoy it for a western fix which is fine as they eat our style most of the time. We have to compromise to suit everyone and I don't mind. Everyone has to be happy.
GD arriving tonight.
Comp mon tues then awards presentation Wednesday.
We home Thursday late afternoon then fly to Singapore Saturday noon.
Will be good if you in Singapore April as we are going april also. We had booked the entire family from boxing day for 10 days then DD announced pregnancy and due early January so had to cancel.
Flights and accomodation for 11 adults , 2 teenagers and 8 kids all booked so had to re-arrange and now going school hols April. ,lucky we didnt lose our deposit on accomodation . Have to pay $50 per person to re-arrange flights :oNot booked yet as prices and flights not out until next month DD 1 is travel agent so she has the hassle!!!

Hope you all had good trip.
Yes that store in Temple street i told you about is same as the one further out that you found. Next time  it's a really good store.
Safe flight home  :)

Yes Crwn Prince loves the Hard Rock, he dud well shopping etc so its nice to take hime somewhere of his choice.

What dates in April, we will prob go Easter which is not school holidays, must gives us a bit longer wih 2 phs or the week if Anzac Day.

Your going to be busy back from Melb Thursday off to Singapore Saturday.

Gosh thats a lot of flights to re-arrange, glad you didnt have that headache :) where are you thinking of stayi g in April?

Enjoy the rest of your stay & all the best for your gd with the competition, very exciting.

We ave decided that we prefer Singapore to Bali, used to go twice per year to Bali, think just been too many times.

Same Bali is losing its charm for us as well. We been going there since early eighties sometimes 3 times a year as we have very close Balinese friends. Most of the young ones want to work in tourism which is affecting village life. makes me sad.
Don't know where we will stay in Singapore in April. Had booked Treetops resort style serviced apartments for all of us but can't rebook anything until new prices come out next month. It looked really nice with pool, kids playground and just off Orchard. DD's friend stayed there last months and said it was fabulous and that website didn't do it justice. They all want to go to Universal studios as only a few of them have been. Will only be in Singapore for 5 nights as having 5 nights Club Med Bintan island. Lots of activities there for kids and adults and only about 45 mins by ferry from Singapore.
With so many small children apartments more freedom.
Not sure of dates yet but school holidays likely as my other teenage GD will be in year 12 so not good to take her out of school.

Glad you enjoyed the break. My GD loved Hardrock also similar age to CP.

Going to watch comp tomorrow today shopping.
Nice leather jacket yesterday and some tops and boots. ;D ;D ;D

We have done 2 club meds, cherating beach & bali. Great for kids.

Went to Ria Bintan pre cp, very relaxing.

Looking at maybe doing 4 nights at sentosa & 4 nights Orchard Rd. Sentosa better for cp to find friends.

Enjoy shopping today :)

We have done Club Med Cherating, Bali and Ria Bintan. My kids loved club med so I know everyone will have a good time there and parents can have some free time with so many kids activities. Good balance for everyone.

Going to buy digital scales now  as GD needs them for comp!!!!! :o

You will love it Deedub.
We have been twice to Club Med Cherating and very relaxing.
Highlight for us was walking on beach at night and saw a giant turtle come out of the sea and come up the beach and dig a hole to lay her eggs. It was amazing.
We saw the newly hatched turtles in a small sanctuary nearby 2 days later. Very special.
I didn't do the trapeze!!!! Well done Hally!!!!
Club Med has something for everyone and sure you will enjoy it  :)
